Thank you for choosing Belgrave Wanderers’ new Mini’s setup for the forthcoming season. As we have previously mentioned this is a new venture, having taken the decision to stop Mini’s coaching last season due to low numbers of players/coaches. We have regrouped under the leadership of first team coach Charlie Pinsard who has taken on the role of Bels Minis’ Co-Ordinator.
The primary decision was to start with the lowest age groups to try attracting children that are not already attached to other clubs. We hope that numbers will grow throughout the first few weeks and will continue during the season. The goal is to build up the numbers with further intake of players season after season. This is very much a long term project.
Initially we aim to provide fun and interactive sessions which all players can partake and enjoy whilst learning basic football skills and teamwork. All sessions will be overseen by Charlie and the Mini’s Football Coaching Team all of whom have passed the relevant FA Safeguarding checks and courses.

Callum Wallace – Coach Assistant
Marty McNally – FA Level 1 Coach

Martin Le Cras – Club Secretary, FA Level 1 Coach (E: email@example.com)
Time & Location
The first session will take place on September 9th 2017 at the KGV from 10.00am. The following sessions will revert to the Victoria Avenue Playing Fields, adjacent to our home ground The Track, which we share with the Guernsey Football Association.
We aim to start each session at 10.00am sharp so we would appreciate it if players could arrive, ready to go between 9.45 – 10.00am.
Please ensure your child brings a drink, shin pads and suitable clothing for the weather.
Where: Victoria Avenue Playing Fields (next to The Track)
Tracksuit/training jacket & ball included
Sessions run by fully qualified FA coaches, including senior club players
In the event of bad weather please check our Facebook & Twitter pages for updates, in the event that the session is cancelled. We will regularly post other Mini’s information on Social Media.
We will issue each player with a Registration Form which must be completed by you, the parent/guardian, with all relevant information; including any illness, condition, disability that we need to be aware of, and emergency contact details.
To enable us to provide suitable equipment etc. to run the sessions there will be a subscription fee of £50.00 which, as a club, we feel is good value compared to other football clubs. Included in this figure is a tracksuit top/jacket. These will be ordered around the end of September ready for the winter weather once attendance numbers are known.
We would ask that the subscription is paid after your child has attended a few sessions; during these sessions you will know if they enjoy it and will be attending regularly.
As with any venture like this it is totally reliant on a pool of volunteers. We would encourage you to stay and watch your child and if you feel that you would like to get involved – whether it be assisting in coaching, taking the register, helping with admin etc. – then please speak to us.
As numbers grow we will need more volunteers/helpers!
